Bank locally – and the community benefits

On 11 September 2008 Varsity Lakes launched its very own Community Bank®.

Community Banking in Australia is now 12 years old and more than 260 communities now benefit from having their own locally owned and operated branch. Not only do they receive genuine service and simple, practical banking solutions but their communities grow and prosper through increased confidence, retention of local jobs and capital.

As the new Branch Manger at Varsity Lakes Community Bank® Branch, I can’t think of a job I would rather have. My team and I work and live locally – we understand the challenges of buying a home, raising a family, running a business and planning for a comfortable future.

We’re committed to working hard to make the business of banking easier for you and welcome the opportunity to direct part of our profits directly back to the Varsity Lakes community. Simply by doing you’re banking with us you have a chance to make a big difference at a local level.

So whether it’s for your day to day banking, an individually tailored home loan, your business banking, a credit card, financial planning, investment or insurance, at Varsity Lakes Community Bank® Branch of Bendigo Bank we’re here to serve you, not the other way around.

I’d be delighted to discuss your banking needs, or ideas and suggestions for the branch. I can be contacted on 5562 0755, or feel free to visit the branch at Shop 7, 195 Varsity Parade, Varsity Lakes.

We look forward to assisting you reach your financial goals the ‘Bendigo way’.
